One of the biggest questions that writers are asked is “Where do you get your ideas?” Many people think that there is a magical bag of ideas that we draw one from. The truth is, we get them from everywhere. Ideas are as plenty as the stars and even beyond. You pull in pieces from one thing and then another. Ideas for stories are typically built up from all kinds of different sources that have meshed together in our minds. You may find one in he coat of your pocket or in a friendly–even frightening-face on a bus or a train. There might be one perched just outside on your window sill or under the cushion of your couch. They come from everywhere. They’re in the air, in your dreams…they’re waiting for you.
So here it is, my little Briefcase of inspirations, thoughts, and ideas. I hope they will inspire you too.
